Biggs Tabanne, Freighter Pilot

Here's the next pre-gen character from my NJO Traitor's Gambit session. I'd originally meant to do one every other day starting with Friday, but since I missed Friday, today is a two-fer.

Seems every Star Wars group needs at least one person that's a crack pilot, and Biggs here fits the bill. For those of you that enjoy checking to make sure all the numbers add-up and any character stat-block has the right number of feats, talents, and what-not, do note that he's got an extra Skill Focus due to his Background selection ;)

Background
Born and raised in the Core Worlds, Biggs was eager to get away from his stifling family and see the galaxy. His father was insistent that Biggs follow his father into serving in the same shipping company that their family had worked for, but Biggs was determined not to become a wage-slave, and opted to sign up aboard a tramp freighter. Even though he’s been cut off from the family finances, Biggs has been able to make ends meet while fulfilling his aspirations of traveling from one end of the galaxy to the other.

The Three Questions
What Do You Love?
There’s nothing you like more at the end of a long shift than a potent alcoholic beverage, with Corellian whisky being your preferred drink. You’re fully aware a blitzed pilot is of no good to anyone, so you practice moderation when on a job, but otherwise freely indulge yourself when at ease.

What Do You Hate?
You hate having to deal with any form of bureaucracy; it’s a large part of why you got thrown you by your wage-slave father. You’ve no issues with a direct command structure; it’s just the interference that a plethora of useless data-pushers and haughty mid-level managers really raises your hackles.

Why Are You Aboard the Zahn Pulsar?
You’d just managed to get yourself hired aboard the Zahn Pulsar as part of the bridge crew a few weeks ago, and have been serving under Captain D’waron as he ferried refugees away from the invasion fleets of the Yuuzahn Vong. You’re not happy with how dangerously over-stuffed the Pulsar is from all the refugees, but that’s the Captain’s decision to make; after all, your job is to steer the ship in the direction he gives.
